Does anyone know precisely when Gibson discontinued the use of "kluson Deluxe" tuner casings and switched over to the "Gibson Deluxe" tuner casings? I read on one informative site that it happened sometime in 1968 but suspect it may have possibly been earlier. :hmm Anyone out there spot a 1967 with "Gibson Deluxe" tuners? Many thanks for any insights/info you can provide. :sos

Generally, not too precise on keys.

I've got a '68 Goldtop "Standard" & '69 Goldtop Deluxe both with Kluson Deluxe. I'm pretty sure that by '70 they had completely changed over to "Gibson" Deluxe. I have seen some late 60's 330's, etc. with BOTH- :)
Hope this helps-

BTW: Gibson merely contracted Kluson to change the logo. Just the one word changed, from Kluson to Gibson. ;)
