• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Does anyone have one of these? Played one, or read any reviews on this guitar. I would really appreciate any info. Thanks.

Barsinister thanks for the reply. I did note that the neck is advertised with having a authentic 63 medium C profile. Hope that helps. Doesn't appear to be much info. or interest in these. I live in a rural area, so no chance of playing one. i'm thinking of ordering one online with the understanding that I could return it if I didn't want it for some reason. I will let you know if I go that route, if your interested and have questions.

They interest me! I'm not on the hunt for another Jr in the near future though, but I hope to at least come across one of these in a store to try.

Would be great if you coud post some photos when you get yours. Would be interesting to se what the neck heel looks like.

$3kā€™s a lot for a guitar that went for $160. originally. I could see maybe $1,500. or maybe $1750. tops..šŸ˜³

I agree-just a few years ago i could get CS juniors and speciasl for $1500 all day!!!now USED on line for only $200 less than new.
I still drool over guitars but this is a time for me to keep my money in my pocket.

The core series SG and Singlecut Jrs and Specials are real sweet for affordable alternatives. No Doublecuts though. The Custom Shop ones I've played have been excellent but that 3k price is excessive. Best Jr I ever had was a slant tail SG Les Paul Jr. Prettiest SG imo. They are just great guitars, anyone remember Chris Spedding??

the Original series JR looks nice but the neck is too slim for me..Big Al-I used to go see Robert Gordon and Chris Spedding in late 70,s thru mid 80s at the Lone Star cafe-Spedding never overplayed-a quick, witty jab and he was out. stealin chickens!!Howie Wyeth on drums-and Rob Stoner or Jon Paris on bass. chris had sunburst single cut JR SG JR and a flying v with only 1 pickup--used a Deluxe reverb daisy chained with a Music Man..i Remember a burst in window of Alex Axe (48 st) for $1200--Wrap tail goldtops $475-Olympic white jaguar $125..and I know someone on this forum can one-up me on that!!! Fender Concert Amp $265...man $1200 sure could take you a long way in 74....and those were NYC high prices..cats would go on the road and hit every pawn shop-etc...and for sure beat those prices.
