• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Get it checked..

Your PSA numbers.

Hey guys I just wanted to put the word out that you should pay attention to your doctor when they tell you your PSA numbers are high.

Well I got the advice after a regular checkup and the doctor told me it's not urgent, but to go to a urologist and talk about my PSA numbers which were high but not that concerning at that time. Well I went a urologist and he was concerned enough to do a biopsy. The results from that showed prostrate cancer.

We went over the options I went for all the tests and scans and it the cancer had not spread anywhere past the prostrate so he recommended the best choice my age and physical condition was a prostrateectomy.

So I went for the surgery last Thursday. The doctor said everything went well and I just need to recover for the next three to six weeks.

Please do yourself a favor pay attention to your doctors advice you will stay with your loved ones a bit longer.

Thanks guys for making this a cool place to hang out. I'll be dropping in when I can.

Peace.

I just wanted to add that I just love seeing photos of your beautiful guitars. I can't play mine right now, but hopefully I can get back to that soon.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Get that stuff checked- and get the ass pipe too. Great drugs (Doctors orders Our Man In the North- you follow?)- out like a light and sweet wake up. Mix that prep shit with white cranberry juice or grape juice and it reduces the unpleasantness a tad. Once every five years for me- and i will keep making my wife miserable for decades.

:salude Thanks BP,

Yeah the road is a bit rougher than I expected but one day at a time is what I'm doing now. I just set a goal for the day and go for it.

(although the goal may just be standing up for a few minutes)
