• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

"I like Telecasters, but I'd like them more if they were more like Gretsch White Falcons", I said to myself the other day.

Looks like I'm not the first person to say that - meet the Fender Custom Shop "White Chicken":

(It's not mine, I don't own one, I just saw one in a video the other day.)

That might be the coolest guitar I've seen this year.

Woah!

That is one fancy Tele!

What is on that headstock? Gretsch or Fender? :)

saw this one too some time ago--that´s one of the coolest guitars for sure..Major mojo
but I for my part can´t really say that I like teles more when they veer into the gretsch territory, I actually love em both:dude:

anyways I love the sound of the Fenders with filtertrons/tv jones

Looks cool but the string break angle doesn't seem enough? Interesting choice of trem.

Josh Klinghoffer from the Chili Peppers plays one, you can see it in this RigRundown about 8 minutes in...

That's quite neat, however I'm not sure the angle at which the strings split is sufficient. Using that trem as an example, you have some interesting options.
