• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I noticed that my Casino didn' t sound very well and it made strange steel noises unplugged.
I order a good quality metric ABR-1 bridge and a long version of the trapeze tailpiece to reduce vibrations between the tailpiece and the bridge.

The result is incredible, awesome, no more bad vibrations. With the long trapeze tailpiece the feeling is better, The guitar seems more consistent, more precise much more enjoyable to play!

What year/factory of origin is your Casino from? It looks interesting, a bit more of a dark perimeter burst to it...

I was playing mine yesterday and thought about how great it is, especially considering how bad Chinese instruments used to be. I haven’t replaced anything, but need to see if contact spray will take care of a glitch in the switch. Mine sounds great unplugged too.

While not a fan of certain aspects of Chinese 'economic' activity... Gibson doesn't get credit for outright ownership versus contract building, and has invested in long-term factory improvements and staff retention for Epiphone. And I think it does show...
