So I found out today, the national lottery is at €27.7 million. I know where I'm going to spend it when I win it!

That is a very nice looking and sounding burst, anyone know the serial?

ZZ Top`s 'Tush' has 'pinch harmonics'??? I don`t know about that but Billy sure gets some real good ones in the 2nd solo of 'La Grange'. The guy it wrong at 2:50 I believe.
Yes, I thought that was not what I remembered, which was slide guitar. I think he meant to say 'La Grange' but even then I always understood that the solo guitar on 'La Grange' was a '57 hardtail strat. Oh God! Now I really sound like a cork sniffer!

He says something like "the end of" Tush. There are three notes at the end during the last turnover, that could be some kind of pinch harmonics. I don't think they really are though. When Billy plays pinched hamonics - and he is a king of that - you'll hear it clearly which one doesn't in this song.

I don't know much about ZZTop FWIW, but that guitar on "La Grange" is a Telecaster of some sort.

Everything I've ever read about the gear used on La Grange has indicated that the first solo was a 57 hardtail Strat and the second (outro) solo is Pearly.
And, that's exactly what my ears tell me.
The clean rhythm parts might have been a Tele. But the solos are undeniable.

There's a very distinct part in the first solo where you hear the bridge flipped to the neck right around 1:30. IMO, no strat neck sounds quite like that even with the tone rolled down a hair. You get this glassy sound with the high end muffled a bit and a round bottom end with a hair of volume cut, you can even hear the switch being flipped, IMO that's textbook tele bridge to neck.

The intro is the hardtail Strat, the solo is the LP, is what I’ve always heard.

This ticks all boxes. Apparently it's one of five Les Pauls they recently acquired from Chicago.

The hi-res video and moving lighting of Emerald City videos is just great, so much detail. My only gripe is they don't linger enough... the detail of the headstock inlay and sinking around the veneer cut is just drool-worthy and I want more! ?

If you play the video at 0.25 speed it's four times as long! ;)

What do we know about this 'Burst? Not in Julio's database, I don't see in BB V.

The serial# is "in range", but what do we know about provenance? Any cavity shots?

I’ve never tried it, but I’m pretty sure it’s difficult to get pinch harmonics when you’re playing with a slide.lol
