Does anyone have a wiring diagram for an EDS-1275? I just bought a closet queen with a bad volume knob and I might need to provide one to my guitar tech.

Thanks for all the replies. My guitar tech was able to make the repair. He said that the wiring was messed up and it looked like someone had partly modded it. Regardless, the guitar sounds and plays fantastic now.

I'm new here and I know this thread was from a couple years ago but I have a EDS 1275 copy that I need to swap the pickups out in it but I've searched everywhere for a CLEAR diagram of the schematic used to wire this up. I'm putting in a set Duncan's in the 6 string side and have a couple Epiphone Burst Busters for the 12 string side. When looking at the Gibson schematic I noticed that they use a double switch in between the pickups and another switch beside the neck pickup on the 6 string side. When I got this it wasn't wired up so I'm thinking that I need an extra 3 way toggle or a mini Toggle added to make both sets work and that toggle will shut of the side not being used. Am I right about that or should I try to make the low switch work as the neck switcher from 12 to 6 and vice versa< can you help me out or point me in the right direction

Does anybody on here look at these threads. I don't think there are many answers out there. The one question I have about the Gibson drawing on here is how did you come up with the extra lugs on the neck selector switch? I assume the middle two lugs are together and they go to the jack with one being ground and the other being the hot wire. How do you split the wires on the double pickup switch. I see they are numbered and going from left to right there are lugs on the top and more underneath. IS THERE ANYWHERE ON THE NET WITH CLEAR DRAWINGS OF WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR?

You can contact Gibson directly for wiring diagrams. You can also find them on the website but you have to do some digging on the website. I think you have that backwards on the second toggle switch. The Epiphone double necks have the second toggle switch so that each side has its own, whereas the Gibson has a singular toggle switch that applies to both.

I had a similar story to you, I had a copy of a 1275 that was originally wired up to be a Don Felder style which I redid to be an original wiring scheme. I went to a Facebook Guitar wiring group and got some very handy detailed instructions from some very generously helpful people. I'll add some of the resources I used here, hopefully they will help you out. I am not a wiring expert by any means, I can solder wires to the places I'm told to, but as to the why they get put where they are, I am completely ineloquent.

Thank you for your post and sharing valuable resources. I am at the same level of competence you are.
I can follow these schematics but I don't know why one wire goes here or there.

Which wiring schematic did you end up using?
I have an import copy of a 1275 that I'm trying to get the original Gibson set up to work, using a Switchcraft (Allparts # EP 4378-000) right angle three-way four-pull guitar toggle switch for double-neck guitars,

I was up until dawn, ironically as you made your post, following a schematic that is supposedly official Gibson, which I posted here, that I found on the Internet.
My results were only the Neck/Rhythm pickups working with their corresponding Neck Switch position but only the 12 string neck Volume pot functions with both Tone pots functioning.

Next, I followed this other "official" Gibson schematic. With it, every pickup functions all the time no matter which Switch or Potentiometer (none of which function) is used or selected

I can speculate, however I don’t quite remember. The pups/pots were pretty straightforward, it was the toggle switch that was the trickiest part.
I am more than happy to take the pick guards off a bit and share some pics of how it’s all wired, however I’m away for work and won’t be home until the end of the month

Thank you for the reply. I'd appreciate any help. I'm so frustrated with this guitar that I'll be glad to put it away until the end of the month! HA!

Forgive my wiring, I did this a few years ago and it was certainly not my cleanest work.

Here’s how it goes:
  1. 6 string Neck PU
  2. 6 String Bridge PU
  3. Ground
  4. 12 string Bridge PU
  5. 12 string Neck PU
  6. & 9 Bridge Volume Pot
  7. & 8 Neck Volume Pot
The last two (6-9 and 7-8) have to be connected.

Lemme know if you need any more help
