"Using a decibel meter app, we measure the loudness of both amps at full volume to give you a clear idea of the difference between a 25-watt vs 50-watt amp. We’ve set both amps to their maximum master volume levels so you get the full effect of the cranked tube distortion."How do we know the 25W isn't dimed, and the 50W @ 1/2?
It's the dials that do the damage...
How did I miss that?"Using a decibel meter app, we measure the loudness of both amps at full volume to give you a clear idea of the difference between a 25-watt vs 50-watt amp. We’ve set both amps to their maximum master volume levels so you get the full effect of the cranked tube distortion."

My hearing is crap from years of garage band jams with everything dimed.
Next time CC will be "on".
Bigger is better, more low end grunt, clearer highs. Smaller amps to shine in the studio however.
I think the 100 watt Fillmore is the best sounding of the three for the reasons stated above.I agree. Headroom is important. So is moving air.

50 water FTW!
mesa still makes great shit. i got my first mesa in 1981. my boy doc has done countless world tours with the brains and sparky (his triple wreck) w/ zero issues.I remember when Boogies were handmade by Randall Smith. They were glorious, magnificent beasts.
i generally don’t track w/ anything that doesn’t have 4 big bottles in the back, tho sometimes u gotta fight w/ the army u have.I agree. Headroom is important. So is moving air.
