• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My pal bought this from the estate a few years back and I had a chance to check it out. I was amazed at the workmanship/artistry of it. I would have thought it the original. The neck feel was amazing - wow.

It was shipped to him that way and he hasn’t played it (he has an old firebird to play). Just a big Johnny Winter fan so he had to have Johnny’s I guess. No, the neck didn’t feel overly big - kinda medium.

Big Johnny Winter fan for 40 + years and ditto for the Firebird V .It's funny because at home I walk past my guitars and see my Cardinal Red Firebird V and think I should plug it into the Marshall and give it a rip as I have not played it thru the 2555X.
