• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Have you ever said "Why did this happen to me?!" in a GOOD way?!

Lena~Costoso said he was sending me something special
for Christmas. Little did I know he was going to do this!

I really wanted a blue 135 when I was looking for one. I found one but the guy was asking waaaaaay to much for it and wouldn't budge on the price. I ended up with one in Cherry.

Sweet guitar!

Thanks Mike!

I got a "thing" about BLUE guitars too but never owned one.
But this BLUE BURST is incredible in sound and beauty.

Those '57 RI HB's really scream when cranked but sound
so sweet backed off a little.

I was in SHOCK for days when it showed up at my door
and I'm still like WTF!?! A true Christmas miracle....

Es 135's are probably THE most underrated Gibson model. Great playability and true versatility....all the way from Nuge to Kenny Burrel in one great guitar. Mine just smokes all of the post 1980 es335's I ever played or owned.

Yah, funny you say that PLAINTOP60, I played a brand new
(never sold) Gibson ES-333 today and it sounded WEAK
compared to my ES-135. The ES-333 needed a good set
up BAD too and it SCREAMED for some better pups.
