• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Thanks Vic and Tim, it was great seeing all these in one spot. It was good seeing Mike and Nick down there too. I haven't had as much time to get down there as I'd like (although my bank account is happy about that)

Thanks. It's just so freaking clean, and I didn't see any checking, that it made me wonder. The fading is almost too perfect!

The photo might make it look cleaner than it is.
There is a little slight finish damage to the left of the bridge pickup [near the edge] and another area above the toggle switch.
It's not truly "freaking clean". The photos make it look that way. :)

57 darkback It was good to see you there. A lot of burst stories were being shared and other assorted discussions on what great bursts and other vintage Gibsons were there. Also, there was a really clean reverse Firebird I there as well. Plus many of the guys/girls there were collectors/players of newer vintage Heritage model Gibsons including Historic and custom; LE Models and Artists issues and reproductions of just about every reissue Gibson has made to date. So many comparisons and discussions of the various older and re issue guitars and also reflections on the first time they had seen ads of the Lucido burst in Guitar Player and lusted for and also who had what in vintage and reissues Gibsons. Mostly it was a good time for those wanting to see Vic and his guitars and extend their congratulations on a great book. Also just talk guitar. :applaude
