Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Yeah I recently got a build a burst, Really nice guitar. It feels very old and has faded really nice now. I always wanted mine to look like a road dog so it's got some strong relicing going on and it's ageing well on its own. I swapped out the Wizz's for a pair of OTPG pickups that I tracked down and it's ended the search for me. I'm not saying I'll never get another or wont ever sell but im really content with it. I'm a bit of weirdo and might get it refinished one day just because I can but who knows.
I wont mention the luthiers name but he is easy to deal with and very responsive. He's also fairly quick at building. Be sure to have a very detailed spec of what you want. The best part is picking the tops and making the decisions. Theirs some very small details that could be improved but for the money you're getting a really good guitar especially when you look at the new Murphy stuff.
