• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My 'used' Cherry Burst 71 custom came with cream fittings. Change them to originals but changed straight back - see Avatar. I like to see guitars customisd a bit. Its a bit like Harleys - 2 shoudl never be the same

Take a look at Thin Lizzy's Brian Robbertson with his '60 custom (see Live and Dangerous). Looks way cool! :dude

My 81 Custom was with the stock black stuff. It just looked too dark for my taste. I had to replace it all with cream. Makes the guitar seem to smile now. I love the cream on the black too. I agree that it might look cool without the pickguard or maybe even the black one (with the cream rings). sweet!

I had one tricked out like that back in 1977. I loved that guitar! I did it because of a photo I saw of Steve Marriott

Nice job Rock-On!!. Your pic does look more like my actual guitar (cream plastic.. not white. LOL).
Guess I'll have to get an amber switch tip. :)
