Ok, this may sound like a sin to some of you but I was wondering if there was a way to 'reverse' the aging on body binding.
I have an 81 LP Custom that is yellower than a rednecks teeth. t doesn't look good to me with the ebony body. Cream would be fine but mustard yellow???? Yuck!
The guitar is not a looker (dings, dents, holes, etc).
It does seem like I can scratch it off with my finger nail and I was wondering if there was a better way to "clean it up". Is it some kind of coating? It almost looks like it is a layer of super thin tape???
Feedback please!!!!!
