I've got probably the world's ugliest Beatle amp (1141), with no footswitch, of course.
The only thing you need the footswitch for is to turn on the distortion. It uses one of those 6 pin (I think) DIN plugs.
Can't I just shove some wire in the various holes until I find the right one for the distortion to get it to go on? Or even better, someone I know thought I could pull the plug out and somehow make it so the distortion was always on instead of always off.
Does anyone know how to do either of these? I don't care about being able to footswitch the effects on and off. I just want to get the distortion turned on.
