• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

The photos aren't the crispest, so I can't swear... but it has some features in common with 0-8070: zebra PAFs; the line that runs between the pickup rings at the upper edges; the fleck or grain line (near parallel to the strings) above the tailpiece; the swatch of flame by the tone knobs.

There's some more info in your "Burst That Got Away" thread, post 410 and on (pg 11 on my browser):

Okay, it just occurred to me to check the inlays, and the 7th fret inlay is a dead giveaway.

It is indeed 0-8070.

Hard to tell for sure from the photo, but doesn't that neck heel look unusually square for a Burst?
Hard to tell from a bad 30 plus year old Polaroid but 0-0154 that i had had a heel that looked very similar,it had a huge neck.Wish there were clearer photo's but Gaston owned this one for a good while and if there were any problems i am sure he would have known and mentioned it.Thanks Mike B.
