Anybody have experiences with Precision Guitar Kits and special orders?

I'm thinking of getting either an X (Explorer) type or F (Firebird) type from them with a Korina or Black Limba body and neck paired to a black bound Macassar Ebony fretboard. I want it routed for 3 Soapbar pickups, and 2+2 control cavity, with the neck glued in by them. I plan to finish it with an amber tint and oil finish. Basically I want a modified Explorer III P90 which will get either a Staple Pickup, Soapbar Charlie Christian from Mojotone, or Soapbar mount Dynasonic from Mojo or TV Jones at the neck, P90's at the middle and bridge, a roller bridge and nut, and a Bigsby B5.

Whether or not it was custom ordered like what I want, or simply chosen from their standard options what was your experience?

Not directly, but I can say I've heard many good things from folks who have done so with the kits. Can't speak to custom orders.
