Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
well it goes to show that this guy didn't just make an honest error.................................. he is an idiot! i'll just e-mail everyone one that bids with a link to this thread! fuck him and the horse he rode in on!:lolspin :lolspin :lolspin :lolspin :lolspin
Geez, guys, I'm so tempted. If I sold the Goldtop, and the Marshall half-stack, and sold my hole, I could manage it. But, it's got that dammed pink switch ring! So close... :lolspin
Hey 59B, what *is* the URL of the Mesa forum? Put it in your sig!

Ya know I think this is just plain sad... End of story.
Oh by the way Centre City Music looks to currently have quite a decent assortment of LH LesPauls available.
I just hope and pray that some LH player out there who is seriously jonesin' for a Paul, who doesn't yet know about this place, doesn't yet know about Centre City, doesn't yet know about SouthPaw,... doesn't end up falling for that ebay con job deal...

The GrailBurst
In an email exchange I had with Canuck Lefty I mentioned how someone made a remark that it sounds like the guy thinks he has found the "grailburst"! For me that brought all sorts of Monty Python Holy Grail humour into the picture. Canuck Lefty suggested I post my Grailburst thoughts...
(note about an inside joke: Canuck Lefty has a friend that actually found one of the amps mentioned below, a old Gibson GA-77 amp apparently from the late 50s):
"We are the knights who say Neee, we use only Marshall full stacks, and NOOOOOOOO bolt on necks. ...noooo bolt on necks..."
"We want... A Shrubbery!" "A What???" "A Shrubbery, and a burst, not a clownburst with the excessive red, but also not an unburst all washed out. A nice burst, with a bit a figure, and some color, and mostly original hardware, and not too expensive... Hey where did he go? He buggered off!"
"Bring out your dead!... Bring out your dead!... Here's an Epiphone, and an old GA-77 amp ... I can't take that, it's not dead yet... Oh do us a favour!"
"Brave brave Sir Robin, brave Sir Robin... He was not afraid, to auction off the grail, He was not afraid, jasonsbluestattoo... With his honey burst Paul made in '98, and his grailburst Gib and it's roughed up case, and he's chickening out and he's buggering off, and he's running away with his brains blown out..."
"What is your name? Slash. What is your quest? To seek the grailburst. What is your favourite color? Teaburst, no lemon burst, no darkburst, no AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
I'm just reading this thread now, but I saw that ebay auction a couple days ago. That guy is such an asshole. He bought that guitar on Feb.22 for $1250 and tries to sell it two weeks later for $3800? I've been pricing lefty LP's on Ebay, and it's outrageous what some people are trying to sell them for. I'm going to send him a nice e:mail and tell him what a f***ing prick I think he is!

serp, if you might be interested in a left handed '91 white LP Custom then we should talk. Otherwise if you might be looking out for a LH LesPaul Standard/Classic I would definitely suggest checking out Centre City Music in San Diego, online at www.ccitymusic.com . Currently they appear to actually have a decent choice in LH...
Just found and joined this forum, and looked on e-bay to see what all the fuss is about. And I'm still thinking, what's all the fuss about! The top on my 91 LH Les Paul Custom would blow that shite top away! $3,500! My arse! If there is a way of posting photos on this board, I'll post a couple to let you see.
