I believe that they covered the top three. Elloitt was number four. They did a photo shoot that covered all four with interviews for the TV guide channel.

Well, I'm afraid that Kat may have taken the bullet tonight. It seems like she's lost her confidence the last few weeks. To be fair to her, it was an uphill battle having her perform Elvis songs. Elliott really shined tonight. Chris and Taylor are for sure moving forward.

Chris voted off? That would be a shame. Kat lost me on that last song she was off pitch.

When I heard that Kat was going to sing 'Can't Help Falling In Love' for her second song I thought it a big mistake. She needed to sing a ripping Elvis tune, one to get the audience jumpin', not an Elvis ballad. She didn't sing it very good at all. It's a crap shoot now.

Kat has lost her confidence and it shows.

The final results show Taylor ranked #1, Elliott #2 and Kat and Chris in a dead heat for last with Chris going home by only 382 votes. You can see this for yourself at www.dialidol.com.

There is a pretty good margin of error though so I could easily see that getting reversed. I hope Kat stays though. Chris lost me the last couple weeks and if we were all honest, he should not be the winner because an Idol contract would make him a pop star, which he is not. He is another Scott Strap type guy and would not be happy doing pop for radio.

If Kat goes home I may loose interest in the show. I think it would be boring with only guys left. If a guy must win, then I vote for Taylor first and Elliott second.

They also know from previous seasons that "image" has a huge part of being an idol. Anybody hear of Ruben lately????
Singing is only part of the mix. I do think Kat made poor song choices last night, but she still has the whole package of looks and vocals. Elliot really pulled himself back into the game last night. I agree that if Kat goes I will lose interest and it might as well be called Survivor not Idol.

I agree. I believe Kat could have gotten up and sang a bad version of just about anything last night and still get enough votes to be in the game (I hope anyway). If she doesn't win, I hope Elliott takes it. I think he has proven that he has the best voice of all the males, especially for singing melodic pop music. I think if either Chris or Taylor win, they'll soon appear as Bo Bice does now: a lost soul in a pop world ... locked away from being able to perform the good stuff.

I agree. Even Kat was shocked (it was clear she thought her number was up). Wow. :hmm

Nice to have Kat around another week, though (great voice and easy on the eyes). :jim

I say Hicks is gone next week. He keeps dancing like he just burned his fingers!

I'm not really shocked. Chris had more than a couple bad weeks and I really did not like him at all last night. The second song was very boring. It was a four note song. I think that really hurt him. Kat is still there because a lot of people know she really is talented and are giving her the benefit of a couple bad performances.

Anyone else tired of the fast vibrato of Elliott and Chris? Elliott especially. I like him but wish he could control his vibrato better. By the way, doesn't Elliott sound like a heavy smoker? Just an observation.

YES, that's the first thing that comes to mind with Elliott. His vibrato is too fast, it's damn annoying.

What jumped out at me last night is that none of these folks are in the same zip code as Elvis (of course). Nobody's performance was very flattering compared to the original. Just goes to show what a total freak Elvis was....

It also shows that it's not easy to manufacture a star. The performers who have made it on their own through natural talent have far outshined any of the Idol contestants....IMO of course.

I was surprised Elliot didn't go. I'm at my wit's end with his and Chris' vibrato. It just doesn't apply in every song yet they do it non stop. It's not a novelty/talent when you do it full bore every time. As one dimensional as they are they'll sell records since that's all idol is about. It boils down to a marketing survey of how many records will sell. Calculate the votes=number of records sold. Kat is still the best voice. So she didn't do Elvis justice. Not surprising. Plenty of other material that she would nail. She's a hottie. Yes, I am shallow, superficial and interested in only one thing! :spabout

Speaking of Kat being a hottie. Who the hell is her clothing consultant? The chick's got a killer body and a great set of tits, and she never uses either to her advantage. How about a little T & A Kat? :headbange

Thank you people for getting Chris off the show. Ever sense he butchered The Queen song Innuendo I just have a problem listening to him. Every song he sings he stays in the same place the one time I herd him try to stretch his voice just a little he almost lost it. And he has no stage presents at all he will never be the one you go to see.
Chris will make a good singer in a band but not a singer on his own.
I don’t know if I am saying this right, he would not be the reason someone would go to a concert but if he was in a band you would go see the band.
Are we all confused now?
