• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

First of all I hope everyone here is going well in those troubled times; let's stick together & be positive, we'll go through it.

That being said, I've just bumped into this ad for what looks like a nice '68 2x12 Bluesbreaker and thought I would share it here:

https://reverb.com/item/34737557-marshall-vintage-bluesbreaker-1968-model-1962-jtm-plexi

What do you think? Btw anyone having experience with that seller from the UK?

Cheers :salude

I’m not a Marshall expert by a long way, but shouldn’t a ‘68 have the earlier type mains and impedance selectors? Also the one closeup shot of the plexi panel looks way nicer than the rest of the amp.

F-hole would know.

Thanks John & guys for the input; wasn't really looking for one of those and it looks it didn't last long anyway.
The seller looks to have nice stuff.

Those Marshall PA columns are worth having. $400 shipping to the US makes me swallow hard.

I would be very suspicious of any purchase in the market this amp is located , in the past recent months I have witnessed incorrectly deceptively badged items for sale in this market place . I will also add the US market is loaded with incorrectly badged items the market is loaded with land mines. Be cautious!!!!!

@AA00475Bassman, by "marketplace" are you referring to this particular seller or the market of those old amps in general?

@corpse, yes those PA open back 2x12 colums are great, I have the Park blue basketweave slant version and I find them to be a great alternative to the more classic closed back cabs.
