• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Had my two 335s side by side last night and noticed the difference in the positions of the switches(and also Volume knobs), checked with '50s/60s ones and they can be different too, quite took me by surprise.

Oh yeah, I see what you mean. They're a little bit different.

Btw, I like your taste in guitars! Beautiful. :)

Are your pickguards slightly different? The switch looks to be in the same place with respect to the "point" at mid-f-hole, but the pickguard appears to be located at different positions with respect to pointed feature. The guard on the tri-color burst seems further toward the tailpiece- look at where they line up on the binding in the pics. You can see the binding in the cut-away on the tri-color whereas the lead edge of the guard covers the binding on the other.

They all look fantastic!

Look where the toggle is with respect to the tailpiece. I see what you’re talkin’ about with the pickguards tho.

In relation to the stoptail piece, I guess it's about a 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch difference.

But look at the tail in relation to the f holes. Is the neck joint the same? If so, then the TP location is what moved.
