I've been wanting a Memphis ES Les Paul in the Classic White top for a while now, they're just tough to find and the prices definitely reflect that. Anyone lucky enough to own one have any pros/cons?

I presume you know what you are wanting in an ES-Paul; it's different from the LP and full ES semi- in sound, which is a good thing, just don't expect 'it's a lighter LP' or 'it's a smaller 335' and have expectations well framed. Close to the 339 yet still a shade different.

Not 'cons' as I like a bit of variety; however, the neck shape feels different from all other LP or ES profiles I've come across. Perhaps a bit more girth. I haven't measured it, though.

Good luck in your quest, especially with that finish. I had 1 burst finish to choose from [as a southpaw] ...

Yes they went with a rounded C shape with that neck and I think they used a more historic width too, so it has a bit of that more girthy feel to it. Something different for sure

It's different still from Historics and I have at least one of each Reissue year. There's some shoulder there that's more than a typical Rounded C or Chunky C, but not like an Epiphone D.

Oh that’s interesting. Wonder if they tried going for the 335 neck profile then?

Yeah.... "something like that." --> YMMV since mine's part of a limited batch of lefty ones produced in 2013, IIRC.
