Okay, so I have way too many amplifiers, but sometimes an opportunity comes along that I can’t resist. How about a 1964 Fender blackface Vibro Champ amp that looks like a time capsule, with original NOS tubes, original Victoria Luggage cover? I still get chills when a 61 year old piece of musical history comes along like this. Image.jpgImage.jpg

It's like my time capsule Deluxe Reverb!

So...

Are you going to have it redone?

I ask because several members tell me I am stupid to turn it on with all the original caps in it.

Beautiful amp Mike. Can you post a pic of the back and the speaker.

I found one of those (same year, very clean) at a neighborhood garage sale years ago and bought it for the princely sum of 10 bucks
I won't ask......but if you don't like the speaker I put a Celestion G8L-35 in mine, with a Tube Screamer it sounded indescribably good.

Holy cow! And I thought my '66 Vibro Champ was clean.

Hi Mike: If you don't have time for a pic of the back and speaker can you tell me which of the speakers below yours has? I always found it interesting how the early Vibro Champs had 5 year old speakers in them from 1959.

Funny, I've been seeing these pop up lately. There's an early 70's one on the Denver CL right now $875. Granted not a '64, and I'm not a small amp kind guy anyway. Good find!
