Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Sorry, you're wrong - this has nothing to do with being cheap. It's a branding issue. A VOS M2M is not a "Murphy Lab" guitar, even if painted by Murphy. So those booklets don't correspond to that model. I have several guitars painted by Murphy but they don't come with a "Murphy Lab" booklet...
Hard to advise, as there aren't any shipping records for Les Pauls available during that timeframe. The other weird thing is that the lacquer on the binding hasn't yellowed. Otherwise looks like a cool guitar.
Get 'em while they're hot! Thanks to Joe Bonamassa for letting us immortalize his beloved Bolin Burst in a t-shirt, and thanks to Charlie Daughtry for working with our shirt supplier to design these for sale...
Curious guitar. Several things not standard to Artisans, including chrome hardware, Sperzel tuners, thinner body, no pick guard, two pickups (they didn't start offering two pickups for a few more years if I recall). My guess is that it was a special order. But who knows? Thanks for sharing!
I'll work on him along with Charlie to get him back. We'll start a new thread and establish some rules - just questions and answers with Mat, no side conversations or derailment.
Hi, I have no idea of the market value of my guitar or whether it will be helped or hurt by a new version. I'm just grateful that I have one with Gary Moore's signature on the COA. As you probably know, he passed away the year after this guitar run was issued.
I wonder how much different it is going to be from my 2010 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1959 Reissue Gary Moore Aged Collectors Choice with Gary's signature on the COA (RIP Gary)?
