According to Gibson in 2022 they are brass.

The Custom Shop say it is brass. When I changed mine to a nickel plated brass, there wss an improvement in the overall sound. No matter what, I don't think it is brass.

They fall out. Don't know if the original did the same?

Do you have a favorite? One that stands out? Are they all different sounding?

It keeps getting better, sweeter, more sustain. Deffinately one of the best 👍

I have Throbak KZ-115 with A5. They sound fantastic, but I think the harness is important too.

Buy the one you like, no matter what year. All guitars are different, especially Les Paul's 😁

The pickups are not clones, but Gibson is working on it. The pots are not clones either and the wire they use are also wrong. But the caps are good🤣😁👍

The FU made my Les Paul tone sweeter and more musical😊 Even better than the Faber👍

Received my Four Uncles ABR -1 today. I compared it to my Faber and the original bridge from my M2M 59. The FU is more mid and treble sounding than the Faber. I think it is because it has less bass than the Faber. It sounds closer to the M2M 59 bridge than the Faber, but without the harsh metal...

Did you cut one in half yet?

Had the same experience when I changed, thumbwheels and post to brass, and installed Faber abr-1. I have ordered the Four uncles abr-1, hopefully this will be and upgrade to the Faber😊

Do you want hide glued top? This is not vintage correct, but might sound better? Then you need 2013 or later< True Historic or 2017 or later< Custom Shop.
