Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Starts at @ the 13:00 mark. I don't know anything about this guitar, I thought that it might be of interest to the members here.
I'm curious about 9-0605's whereabouts. (http://burstserial.com/gallery/main.php?cmd=album&var1=1959%2F9+0605%2F&var2=2)
She was owned by a friend in the eighties, he sold her to Norman Harris and he was wondering where she wound up. Any info would be appreciated.
My brothers, I'm trying to determine the manufacturer of a set of 6L6's. There is no logo, just the code OTK 59 and 9908 and 6L6GC, made in Russia. I suspect that they are Svetlana's, but can't be sure, they have brown bases. Anybody?
What I mean by good is authentic. I know that the usual suspects are DMC, Vintage Clone, and RS. It seems to me that there were one or two other sources, but I can't remember to save my life. Hopefully Sean French will see this as this seems to be his "thang". C'mon y'all help a brother out!
I have an 18 watt "clone" that was built by a friend. I am having a big problem with "grid clamp" or "blocking". It is a TMB circuit with an EZ81 recto. Does this design have an inherent problem or is there a cure?
