My Lentz Conversion has a 1959 wiring harness. The volume control for the neck pickup has been cutting off occasionally and sometimes getting scratchy when I adjust. Had been hitting it with a high quality electronics cleaner and working the pot back and forth. That was really going nowhere...

This is my 54. When I bought it the finish was removed from the top and the back was dark. I did frets, and a full refin. I wasn't sure about doing the back dark but I'm pleased with the results and I have seen an original 54 with a dark back. Plays and sounds great.

I have a thin eared JR tailpiece and one of the ears has cracked off right where the lower string intonation screw is. I have replaced with a pigtail unit but would like to repair this old one. Does anyone know who might repair something like this?
