About 1.5 years ago I remember reading a number of people liked the antiquity's with the magent from a P-90 re-issue. Did that sort of die out or are people still doing that? Are there any other sources for magnets, without buying and tearing apart a P-90?

I am installing a roland midi pickup on a Warmoth Tele. I don't have the manual. Any suggestions or tips would be welcome. How does the GK-2 differ from the GK-2a? How close does the pickup have to be to the strings? How close does the pickup have to be to the bridge?
