These guitars are all hand made, then hand sanded soo i dont think there is a Correct carve.I think the most that was done around 2018 , was to get the carve more correct, as in more pronounceable around the edges, more pronounced belly and sharper edges

I would go with Honey…as far as a million of current colors..there as you said allready hundreds of different Cherry burst variations…so i say Honey because of how that color makes Ribbons pop

The reason for me, is that as much as I love Gibson, guitars….I feel that Gibson made the whole Murphy, name lose it’s specialness, when they came out with the Murphy lab.

If its one of the older Murphy aged guitars, then he “Himself” would simply age the standard Historic plastic parts.
