Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I know about the alternative replacements available, just want to know if these are the ones that come as standard - with the embossed numbers.
I contacted the seller, haven't had a reply yet.
Apologies...

Been on several guitars since, fine working order and great sounding.
Ends trimmed - I'll include plenty of extra cable - but I don't think you'll need it.

I'm fancying a set of the 5% over Fralin hum-cancelling P90's.
I'm not sure if the coils are stacked or side be side.
Would the cavities of my 1996 R4 be deep enough for them without any extra routing ?
Also, my pet hate is a neck pickup that's louder than the bridge.
Does anyone have...
A man in a hot air balloon realised he was lost. He reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more and shouted, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.
The woman below replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon...
Could anyone recommend me a good digital SLR ?
I'm wanting to take better pics, mainly outside country/wildlife shots but also guitar pics.
I'd want a good quality, with zoom and wide angle lenses.
I've had a few point and shoot digitals, and I find the screens too small and the buttons...
From the limited pics I've seen, it looks like Historic R7 and R4 Black Beauties (even 2003 onwards) have tuners following the line of the headstock, not in the V shape.

I decided to sell my R7 VOS and wait for a Plaintop Murphy to come up.
Thanks to forum member The Stumble for the heads up on this one. Hey Dan, it's the next best thing to your Vintage World Murphy...
I'd like to express my public thanks to Lance at Wildwood for a very friendly and simple deal on the 2001 Murphy R9 plaintop.
As well as answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly via email, the speed with which the guitar arrived over the pond in Yorkshire was astounding.
The deal was...
First of all, thanks to HM for the lightning fast delivery over to Yorkshire. Quicker than mi' grandad's whippet.
They're going in my 2001 R7 Murphy, so I got to thinkin'...
Would it be cool to have them reshaped to fit the existing routes - I'd then have a guitar that was a bit different -...
I started doing the Peter Green mod on this pickup, and lost my bottle when I took the base plate off.
Does anyone know what pickup this is ? There's no sticker on the bottom, but it looks like it could have been removed.
Thanks,
Kev.
I've had Murphy gas for about a year, and recently bought a Murphy R7. This has added fuel to the fire - now I'm considering adding a second Murphy, but as we all know the flametop prices are silly here in the UK, even if I could find one.
So I have my VOS R7.
Options are to wait for a Murphy...
