Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
I was able to get verification that my '64 lefty blonde ES-335 left the factory as a lefty in natural finish. I want to thank some of the folks on this board who helped me get this info from Gibson.
I consulted with a lot of people about this guitar, but the shipping ledger detail removed any...
Hi all,
I'm trying to get some detail from Gibson on my '64 ES-335. Is there a contact y'all work with to review the records/logs? If this is a sensitive request, please PM me!
Thanks
It's not often that someone gets a chance to update the records for Gibsons. This near mint, 100% original guitar is the first documented blonde ES-335 as best I can tell. Gibson allowed custom orders and some lucky lefty bought this in '64.
Here are a couple of pictures. Sorry, i couldn't...
I was fortunate to acquire this lefty, all gold '54 Les Paul from a very nice gentleman (and his wife) in Japan. Thanks to Dire Wolf for helping me find it!
Now I'm looking for repertoire which features these great sounds. So far, I've keyed in on the following songs and artists:

I'm looking at a couple of rare vintage guitars that are near mint. The prices are 2X-3X what the 2010 Vintage Guitar Price Guide shows for "High". The guitars have been for sale for over a year.
I know that "the sky is the limit" for some guitars, but is it still the case in todays market...
I'm selling a lefty R9 VOS in near mint condition with all the case candy and tags. This guitar has great flame and comes with the discontinued Lifton repro case. The guitar is set up beautifully, is 100% original, and weighs in at 9.4 lbs.
The pictures tell the story:
Price - $3,300 plus...
Hi guys,
I thought you might enjoy a 2001 R0 I just picked up. i've become a fan of the '60 neck profile, and this instrument has some of the nicest flame I've seen in a lefty. Enjoy...
I know some of you are expert in dating these late '60's to early '70's guitars. Here are a couple of details of this one:
1. Serial number 905282 on Orange label and back of headstock. Also marked "2' for second. No "MADE IN USA"
2. Added witch hat knobs and correctly installled new Gibson stop...
This looks ostensibly like a great buy for this guitar - good condition, 100% original, and a seller with 1,000 feedback @ 100%. Am I missing something or has the market reaqlly softened...
Folks,
Is this 335 case interior redone?
