Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Hello, I have these two es335s below and would like to know why the differences regarding cutaway depth. The 2018 has a COA signed in Memphis.

MIke, what do you think about the correlation of the 335 horns and the last two frets on the board.
My 2018 335 has the horn cutouts even with the 22nd fret. There was a COA in the case with this one.
My 2022 335 has the horn cutouts even with the 21st fret.

I'm testing out some es335 guitars and noticed that on the 2018 guitar, the cutaway depth was about even with the 22nd fret. The 2018 guitar came with a COA so maybe it is custom shop. The 2022 guitar has the depth at about the 21st fret. Anyone have experience with this?

I"m trying to replace a Natural Flying V '98 that I sold a while back.
I hope to grab a couple, keep the best, and sell the rest. I got one from Japan a month ago and it's ok but not the neck that I remember so fondly. Got another one from Japan. It didn't make it; not all the way at least...
There were three finishes offered for the fantastic looking Flying V 98 guitars. Natrural (best wood), Burst (2nd best), Translucent Purple (3rd). Anyway, I had them all. The natural played the best, then the burst, and then the purple.
Sold them all and bought my daughter a fucking cello...
I remember an image like this from years ago but can't find it now and I've tried many many variations of search terms in google. The key part is the head and the wide dome over it. The legs and arms are just there to have them. I don't really remember the position of those. So let me know:
