Any thoughts on this one (re-neck)? Presumably a full refin (if it is what it purports to be), as the top is nowhere near a tangerine-burst and the back looks faded but shows the same colour underneath the truss rod cover, where one would expect the red to be unfaded; the control cavity looks remarkably clean, with no evidence of any previous red finish/stain. Also, the tooling mark/lines (?) about half-way up the control cavity look unusual.

I meant the control cavity cover - thanks for pointing this out!It looks like this one is still up on Reverb. I'm curious what you mean by unfaded under the truss rod cover though?
Thats actually not heavy at all. It's normal. Both are on the heavy side. Not that I have the ability to buy them anyway.

Yup. For $150K you should be able to get a real nice all original '57-58 Goldtop w/buckers.Alot of money for something with no s/n.

Oh, I couldn't really say. For someone wanting this kind of thing, the price tag might be right. For me, with an all refinish and no original serial #, much less. For sure.
What do you think the number on this one is, 80 to 100?

IMO, if it was a body only refin & still had its original ser.no, the 150K would seem more in the right ballpark.. YMMV.Gotcha, yeah makes sense. I'm trying to kind of educate myself on these values because you hear stuff all over the map.
