• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

When you see LPs like this one turn up out of nowhere it's magic.
Back in the day Tom W would have said 'now what serial # is this one' and it would have been added to the Burst serial # archive with the new owner's permission.
Also great to see the nicely figured '58 as on your site (y)

It definitely feels like magic! I have a few serial numbers to add to Julio's site but I've had a difficult time contacting him. Can anyone DM me a better contact than his email address? I didn't receive a reply the last time I used the email address on his site.

What an amazing guitar! Looks like it was built yesterday.

One thing I noticed, being a former builder and inspector, is the alignment of the slots on the tailpiece studs. I know it's purely cosmetic, but we were taught to align the slots just like this, straight across the tailpiece. Anyone know if that was the norm at that time as well? If so, then these could actually be the original strings with the tailpiece studs undisturbed.

Oh wow, this type of flat sawn, non bookmatched maple top is such a rare beauty.
