• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Mushy low end to my ear. He is running the bass pot up high on that Marshall, imho. Not my preference…Ommv.

Also could be a fuzz pedal on the ground. Many fuzz circuits plus LP sound that way. Not my bag either

Well, a great number of fuzz pedals have sat between a Les Paul and a Marshall without destroy8ng the articulation on the low end. One rolls the bass on the amp back.

Amazing to me that you guys watch that Kid tear the ass end out of that guitar and all you can talk about is the low end EQ.
If Jimmy Page had played the same thing half of you would’ve nutted on yourself.

No, I don't think so. Seemed to just a string of common weedly weedlies together in the same key. Can I do all of them? No, prolly not but I know enough not to string them all together (and it's mushy). I don't want this to be all negative, the kid does have talent.

Sure glad my ear isn't that sophisticated, because I loved every minute of that.

I think this Fella is a really great player, followed him for a while.

But I agree with Wally. Roll the bass off...

Thanks for posting Bill.

That was fun. Remember fun? Comon Wally? His gymnastics and guitar athleticism are just wow.
I heard clips from his new trio record last night- just hold on. There’s a new sheriff in these parts.

Overall was a great performance, though I agree that during the verses the treble came out.
I'm guessing offhand that it's a fuzz pedal on the ground set way dark.
