• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Can’t see any estimates but they’ve had a hell of a lot done.

Definitely ‘players’ condition, not sure how much Nugent adds as a celebrity tag...

He definitely adds celebrity. Whether you like him or not. Not on the level of a Clapton Page or Beck, but as a kid growing up in the 70's and 80's he was a guitar god of sorts. Had some cool stuff. My band used to cover Free for All and Great White Buffalo. His name wont make it a 500k guitar though.

I thought he had a third one, but I may be mistaken. I believe he carved his name in all of his bursts. This will be interesting to watch.

By the way, I’m definitely on the ‘love him’ side for his music. The first album is almost unbeatable and the follow isn’t half-bad either!

Just I know there’s plenty who might not see it as an upside 😅

It’s a shame there’s no record of which recordings they were used on

You would think they could hire a professional photographer!

I wonder why he is selling all his stuff?

I suppose it could be to do with lack of tour income? or just feeling the time is right to let them go. Would have been great for the auction house to have done an interview with Mr Nugent about the guitars, how long he's owned them, the songs/tours they were played on etc.

I love that he carved his name in the guitars!

The only down side I see is, Ted didn't make his great music with any of them.

I don't really like Ted, personality wise, but I love the way he played guitar.

One to many modifications for my taste . besides the name carve and the changed tuners and the funky strap buttons these are not in mint condition . I have to think the Motor City Madman needs the funds . I loved the Nuge as a kid and played his songs on my Les Paul . Iconic tunes -Cat Scratch Fever, Stranglehold , Great White Buffalo .

I used to live in Grand Rapids, MI. Saw him somewhere between there and Detroit in '68 or '69 in a small venue with The Amboy Dukes. Came out in full Indian regalia with an Indian War bonnet and played on top of his amps. Totally a "Madman"!
