• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Of course 5 Watts are loud but with the two masters volumes it's easy to handle.

Glad I could help!

Hope it was a good Christmas!

Cream backs sound interesting. Think the combo has green backs and the matching cab has yet another speaker - this may take a while to workout!

My current home use setting.

...and finally made a decision. Just ordered a 2525C to go with my JCM1C, that will be me for amps. Thanks again for passing on your opinion!

Here's a little clip of my CC#14 into a 2204 / 1936 clone that I built a few years ago.

Found that head in an estate sale. Major score!. That rig really captures the classic early Marshall sound. I'm really a Fender amp guy, though, and love the Clark tweeds, too. I also own a Tyger and a Beaufort.

I have the Piedmont after several recommendations here.
Beautiful sounds and workmanship.
I want to sell some others and get some more of his work.
the problem is, I like all my amps too much to get rid of any of them...

I covet a Piedmont. That one's high on my list of amps I'd like to own. Really like my Tyger and Beaufort, especially for recording.

It's fine owning more amps. :peace2

My 2006 R8 through a 1983 JCM 800 2204 with a 1987 Silver Anniversary 4x12 cab with Celestion V30 speakers. There's also a tubescreamer and a Boss RE-20 involved.
