• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I thought it might be fun, and informational, to start a thread that could be potentially long lasting. Why don't we try to congregate all of the current bursts for sale into this one thread.

Yesterday I posted that 9 0647 is currently for sale at Storybook guitars.

What else is currently on the market? Asking prices would also be helpful if available. This kind of thread could help a potential buyer judge the current market conditions.:jim

Oh, come on - a perfect opportunity to have a nice gallery of bursts, and you’re sending web traffic elsewhere? Post some here!

If someone has the time to harvest some pictures and prices from there, that would certainly get this thread off to a bang! I'm actually having to do some work today!:hee

What does the collective wisdom think of the current pricing? Do 59s with at least some wood, really start at 300k and move upwards? Are they selling above the 300k mark?

A solid '59 seems more inline starting at $225-$250K and go up from there. Just my opinion. There are a few priced reasonably and some way high. Of course, we really don't know all of the issues (if any).

Certainly some outliers in that list, IMO.

As a certain forum owner can attest, some of those priced north of 300k are selling. For what gavel price, I don't know. Some priced north of 300k have been for sale for a long time. (e.g., Ralphie) No idea why.
