• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

The last factory-new Les Paul I bought was on December 29, 1980 - my beloved Heritage Elite.
Now, almost 32 years later, thanks to the outstanding professional courtesy of Steve Mesple at Wildwood Guitars, and the inspiring commitment to Gibson guitars of Mike Slubowski, I welcome the latest addition to the family:

That's Mike holding #21 which he hand-selected for me among a bunch of options at Wildwood, and his original 'Burst. The following pictures are courtesy of Wildwood - I can't wait to get this beautiful guitar to my house for some additional photo shoots!

thanks for all the comments. This guitar was hand-picked by Mike among several others. He says that the pictures don't to it justice. I can't wait to hold #21 in my hands, play it, and take more pictures...

Werner is a great guy and internet friend that I have been corresponding with for a long time regarding our guitar passion, and I'm excited that he made the decision to purchase one of these CC 6 models. I still feel intense pressure over selecting a guitar for him, because it is such a personal thing for each of us, and sure hope he won't be disappointed! :wah

It was very kind of Mike to offer Werner the Slubowski guarantee:
"If you don't like the CC #6, I will send you the original".
Very upstanding.
