• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Ok, that is my favorite burst I've ever seen. I love plain tops. Lovely grain around the pup switch. Yeah, my favorite yet. What booth at the Philly show will you be in (November I assume)? Thanks for sharing!

Yes, snag, the Philly show is November 12th & 13th. And as I've done for the past few fall shows, I'll be camping out, and displaying some of my guitars at the MLP booth.

Thanks, Dave! I am, and will continue to enjoy the guitar for years to come, I'm sure. And I could go on and on about what a class act and gentleman you are too (so much so, that my mom wanted to adopt you), but we wouldn't want to "ruin" your reputation around here, now would we?!? :lol (note: Dave and I had a good laugh about how he's sometimes perceived around here, when in fact, he's the nicest guy in person). Perhaps we'll meet up again at a Philly show sometime in the future.

Tom, good eye with regard to the back color. I think the camera and/or lighting may have been playing tricks on me. In fact, the back does have more red in it than the above pic shows. I'll try and play around with the photo a bit to see if I can get it to more accurately reflect the correct color.

And a 4 latch Lifton being correct for a '59? I had no idea! That's great to know!

I thought it might be the photo but I wasn't sure.

And Bursts came in several different cases. :salude
