Yep, its a DVD documentary with interviews of Greeny, John Mac, Mick Fleetwood and Jeremy Spencer.

A very good doco, though I would have liked more concert footage and not much is said about Danny Kirwan (which is a pity 'cos Danny rocks!)

Green shows his guitar collection, not an LP to be seen. He prefers guitars with single pickups ow.

Cheers

Thank you for the Post.

I am a huge fan of Peter Greenbaum.

I am always looking for more information. This DVD looks great.

On the DVD, "An Evening With Peter Green Splinter Group", Peter played a Howard Roberts Fusion, and mentioned it was one of his favorites.

Also, I thought that Fender had supplied, the band with all the gear, guitars, amps.

Which shows me that Peter still likes a Gibson in his hand, even when the guitars are free.

I bet he would play the "Peter Green Signature", That Gibson will eventually make, hopefully sooner than later.

Does he still live in Sweden? Is it filmed here? (His parts.) Where can I buy it?

I got mine from Amazon in England. Cost around $50 with shipping. Unfortunately, I could only watch it on my laptop because my DVD players at home are not region free - I took it to Ukraine with me and watched it again on a big screen. Great DVD!

I think I remember Billy Gibbons saying in an interview that he would like to present Peter Green with a nice Gibson LP so that Peter does not has to play that HRF any longer.
IIRR that was in VG Dec 2004.
I guess Billy was talking about a chambered one as Peter obviously prefers lighter guitars now.

So whats the deal, if I buy this from the UK is there any chance it will play on my home computer?... If not, can I buy a cheap DVD that will play it?

Hi, Ed. It will most likely play on your computer. The whole "region" thing is stupid, and, when you try to play it, you may be asked to verify that you want to play a DVD from a different region. This is with older drives, I think, because my new computer didn't object to playing the DVD at all. On older drives, you can change regions 5 times before your DVD drive will become "locked" to the last region you selected. There are plenty of legit programs out there to defeat this if you get to that point, but if you typically don't watch stuff from other regions you won't have a problem. It will work on your home DVD player if you have one that's "region free." Most likely it will only play Region 1 disks, though.

Good observation there, which we often forget about as guitar freaks who concentrate on his playing, but what a great voice he has too.
