• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

You might try reaching out to a Mod and asking them to delete the tread..
(Or wait for someone to probably report it to them because its in the wrong section..:rofl)

I would love to hear why you believe this?

Just from looking at the photos. :hmm
If I had it in my hands I might change my mind … but I doubt it.

Just 45+ years experience with vintage guitars, including Gibson made Epiphones [my first good guitar was a c.1964 Texan … still have it].

That doesn't mean I'm right. It's just what I believe. :salude

I want to believe its factory. I just can't prove it.
There are a lot of SG Jrs and few Firebird Is with paint like mine.
The black fret markers look original to me using a magnifying glass.
Also you are not first to tell me its not. Either way its a keeper!

Yes Lite tackle saltwater charter captain. Tournament Angler ASE master tech and part time guitar tech.
Charter fishing is a lifestyle not a living!

And for me, vintage guitars are my living and my lifestyle.
But, I do not consider myself an expert. Just experienced.
:salude
