• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Where are they now...

Great foresight to photograph all these guitars. You clearly are proud of your work and the Gibson brand. I love seeing these posts. :jim

How about these?

No whammy bars?
No custom inlay?
No maple fretboard?
No bling (ala Nashville Now)?
No synth/active electronics?
No third pickup?
No explorer headstock?

I'm almost disappointed. :)

Yes, it's true. Some of the guitars I built were actually stock. :dude:

This is surely one of the coolest threads I've ever read on a guitar forum

Thanks guys!
Some say I should write a book, but who has time for that?
Much more fun sharing here on the LPF.

Here's one to close out the year.
Hope everyone has a fantastic 2017 :salude

Single P90 Customs aren't that rare nowadays,
but they were in the 80's.

This is the only one I've ever seen with the
tone control in the Rhythm Tone position.

Where is it now?

Sorry for the wait. Playing in three different bands, doing guitar repairs, and
holding down the day job has kept me busy lately. Nevertheless, I must
satisfy my esteemed sponsors :laugh2:

After reading the post "How my Fool SG was built from a 63 SG Jr."
I thought I would post these. Pretty sure they were painted by the same guy,
Jim O'Connor back in the 80's. Besides the amazing artwork, these Customs
featured a master tone control, coil tap, and no body binding.
Where are they now?

The Cowgirl (my personal favorite)

My Dad with the Blue Lady
