• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hi :),

1 piece neck, 1 piece body with short neck tenon, 300k linear pots and small ceramic caps, Nashville pots. Not my favourite combo. :)

But workmanship on these is usually excellent.

Hi Progrocker111, thanks for your information ! So this model being a reissue of the 1957 is not totally equal, because it doesn't have the same pots and a long tenon ? Greetings, akkermanfan

There are different years as well variations of the LPC. The regular LPC from say the 57's and 68's for example will have a different take as to the above you have mentioned.
You will have a hay day searching and learning from this forum what it's all about.
The search tabs above will keep you reading until your eyes turn blue hehe! Lots of good reads, unless you come across a member here that has all the model or have played them.

I've the LPC from 2007 but it's not the 57 or 68 nor have the 3 pups config. Although I don't mind getting a 68 one day soon yeah!:yah

A 1991 Custom is nothing like the 57, nor the reissue......if you're talking specs.
Different tenon
Different top wood
Different pickups
Different electronics
Different bridge and tailpiece (construction)
Weight relieved body
Different headstock shape/logo

Closer to the 68 as has been mentioned.

Even the reissues until 1995 still had short tenon and cheap 300k pots and small ceramic caps. Custom Shop makes them much better now. :)
