Do notice a little loss in tone when I using the amp alone. With a band I don't notice it at all.

Yesterday, it dawned on me that this little sucker is REALLY LOUD! I'm starting to get the hang of it... not diming everything anymore. The cleaner sounds that can be had by using 12AT's and AY's instead of AX7s are really starting to help me get my sound with these amps... Let's me put some grit on top of a real warm sound. Big, fat tone that defines whatever power tube I have in it. I'm lovin' this amp! :)
