Gibson Lucille: Any difference between Memphis and Nashville versions?
I owned a 1994 Lucille some years ago that I, unfortunately, sold.
I'm in the market for another (non-Custom Shop) Lucille and can now choose between those made at prior to Memphis in Nashville (up to ~2000) and those made in Memphis (2000 onward -- until Memphis recently closed).
In general, should I expect any appreciable difference between the Memphis and Nashville versions in terms of overall quality?
The Memphis versions seem to go for more on the used market, but I'm not sure if that's because they are just newer guitars or if the Memphis factory is more highly-regarded.
