Hi, new here... I run a guitar shop specialized in restoring vintage guitars (besides building guitars) and for the moment we have a Les Paul Custom from 1969 on the bench; the headstock has been broken and someone has done a bad job and ruined most of it - including the MOP inlays. We need to find or make a new logo and also some of the diamond blocks, this one is little special since this was the last year the made it in the old way (a thin maple veneer on the top) and the following year all the inlays were placed in a thick vulcan fibre plate. This plate with binding can be found but we need the separate logo, 1969 style. This logo also differs some compared to early seventies logos. As we have a CNC machine we can manufature it but need the accurate outline - or even better a CAD.
So I would be glad if someone can point out any source for this; logo, accurate drawing, CAD or anything that can help us getting on the right track in order to restore this guitar authentically.
