I came across five incredible Gibson ES-335's from different ages. That's a great chance to discover the evolution of their features and, of course, for an epic comparison test!
In particular, we are examining four vintage ES-335's, all in great conditions with original PAF humbuckers: a 1958, with the typical features of the early models and others from 1960, 1961 and 1962, showing the changes introduced between 1959 and the respective years.
The comparison test is a very interesting confrontation among the 1960 Dot Neck, The 1962 Cherry and the Collector's Choice #42, reissue of the 1962 ES-335 of the guitar player J.D. Simo from Chicago, produced in 2016 in the Nashville's Custom Shop.
Enjoy!
