• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This project has been boxed up and sitting under a table for probably 10 years now. I'm finally getting around to it. All I needed to do was replace the neck volume pot. That was the easy part. The challenge is getting it all back together with such limited access. Sure wish it had F holes! ha ha. As far as I could figure the only real option is to fish the pots and output jack through the body with wires. It wasn't easy but I got it all done and I was feeling pretty good about myself... until I went to pull the last one through. Of course, it would not line up. I tried and tried. Apparently, I did not leave enough slack when I soldered the grounding wires to all of the pots.

Has anyone here been through this before?
