I know this is a LP tech area but I'm hoping a Hummingbird question would be okay too (Gibson family and all).
My Hummingbird is about 4 years old and the pick guard has started coming unglued in one tiny area. It sticks up and I press it down and it holds for a day or two but eventually pops back up.
I read online about how to fix this and there are 1000 fixes for it and some say double sided tape and some say glue (and some say absol NO glue! ) etc etc. I did try a bit of double sided tape and it did not work at all.
Would it still be under warranty? Should I contact Gibson (Canada)?
Any suggestions on how I could fix this myself? If tape what kind of tape, if glue what kind of glue? Should I take it to my tech guy (whom I trust with all my Gibsons)?
